Mental health represents our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Mental health can influence our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and actions and ultimately determines how we handle stress, relationships, and decisions. 

Unfortunately, mental health often gets neglected during the business of everyday life. It’s easy to focus on work, family, and other responsibilities, but it can be so difficult to find time for your mental health. Physiotherapy is a medical specialty that involves the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical impairments resulting from injuries and illnesses that affect muscles, joints, bones, the neurological system (brain, nerves, spinal cord), the respiratory system (lungs), the circulatory system (blood vessels) and the cardiac system (heart). The role of a physiotherapist is to help patients regain, maintain or improve their mobility through a variety of treatments including manual techniques, exercises, electrotherapy, ultrasound therapy, and thermotherapy (application of ice or heat).
